About The Paper Engineer
Paper Creations is the heart and art of Mike, better known as The Paper Engineer. Based in Washington State, USA, Mike transforms the simplest materials—everything from everyday paper towels to sturdy chipboard—into breathtaking works of art. Using nothing more than his imagination, precision, and trusty Elmer’s glue, Mike builds his masterpieces from scratch—often starting with just a single picture that he enhances and brings to life in remarkable three-dimensional detail.
Since 2009, Mike has honed his craft to an exceptional level. His creations reflect not only artistic passion but also decades of professional discipline and spatial mastery from his earlier career. Each piece showcases exceptional attention to detail, timely precision, and the kind of quality that can truly last a lifetime.
Although retired, Mike continues to craft with the same energy and dedication as ever—sharing his techniques, insights, and love for paper art with the thriving Paper Army community around the world. Through his live show times (Monday to Friday at 11:00 AM PST for two hours), he invites creators of all levels to watch, learn, and build alongside him.
Mike believes that creativity should be accessible to everyone. Many of his incredible designs are made from recycled materials and everyday items, proving that paper crafting doesn’t have to be expensive to be extraordinary. His use of Elmer’s glue gives each project a clean, reliable finish—and even allows for adjustments along the way.
Private members of the Paper Army can also join Mike on Discord, where he hosts exclusive members-only tutorials and behind-the-scenes sessions. His welcoming spirit and attention to every small detail make each session both inspiring and educational.
Mike’s creations are more than paper—they are timeless expressions of imagination, craftsmanship, and the joy of creating something beautiful from the simplest of materials.
